When to schedule a Pregnancy Massage?

 

Pregnancy Massage is one of the most wonderful treatments to receive throughout your pregnancy. I love assisting women on their journey.

I am a qualified therapist (i.e. completed extra training in the field of pregnancy massage) through Pregnancy Massage Australia and have been working with pregnant women since 2015.

Pregnancy Massage may assist with relieving your pregnancy discomforts such as lower back, pelvic, hip and rib pain, leg cramps, swelling, shoulder and neck tension, stress, anxiety and improve sleep. Prior to your massage, we sit down and have an in depth conversation to discuss how your pregnancy journey is going, along with measuring your blood pressure.

The best time to schedule a pregnancy massage is after your prenatal appointment (i.e on the same day or within a day or two after). This is to ensure I have the most up to date health for you and baby, and treat you accordingly. Bringing your antenatal card along to every treatment also helps me ensure the best treatment approach for you.
